I never really knew I was going to get into beauty, like I said previously I kind of just fell into it. People often say not to stress over your career as one day it will come to you, I found that hard to believe, until one day it really did.
If you have read my previous blogs, you'll now have an idea on how it started. So once I was getting a lot of custom through my bridal hair and makeup, I decided to work harder and think bigger so that I was able to go self employed.
There were so many courses to choose from, that I really had no idea what to do first. My friend up north had started lashes and they looked so amazing, (If you're from Durham, make sure to go to By Jessica) so with the advice from her I decided to go and study with Nouveau Lashes. A little pricier than what I had imagined, but it was honestly worth every penny! I learnt so much over a short period of time and even to this day, if I ever need help I can contact them via the wonderful world of social media!
I did the ultimate lash course, which included extend, express and LVL. I am not very good when it comes to meeting new people, especially when you have to go around the room introducing yourself, it's something I find embarrassing and extremely uncomfortable. Everyone was in the same boat and none of us had done a Nouveau course before, so we were all on the same level.
I love that I got to learn different lash techniques. My favourite treatment has to be LVL, I love the difference it can make on natural lashes. I personally have never been good with false lashes, I tell my clients off for playing around with their lashes, yet I can't help but do the same when I have them. So my personal favourite has to be LVL. However, that is my opinion, a lot of my clients love the lash extensions and they look amazing on them!
